As we sit down to eat our meals, some of us wonder, “Where does this food come from? What company manages this food product?” Well, for the curious ones out there – we have the answers!

One of the most widely-known American food companies is OSI Industries. They service a wide range of different food products – from beef and chicken, to sandwiches and pizza. Because of their customer service, their range of production, and the specific products they offer – OSI Industries has become one of the top 100 food companies. Even though they are based in Aurora, Illinois, OSI services retail and food service industries throughout the U.S.

One of the biggest food brands that many of us are familiar with, is Tyson Foods. Just recently, OSI Industries purchased a Tyson Food plant in Chicago. They bought the food plant because it was near their other buildings and it would also help them manage and help serve the ever-growing needs of their customers.

In addition to the Tyson food plant, OSI Industries also purchased Baho Food – a Dutch manufacturer of retail foods and foods for the food service industry. This has allowed OSI to expand their business in Europe.

These company buy-outs has allowed OSI Industries to grow their business market as well as their food products. They are aware that the more they expand their food product range, they will be able to service their customer’s needs better.

As the food industry grows and more retail grocery stores are being built, OSI will ultimately grow with their business and continue to serve a wider range of customers with their increasing food products. Maybe then they will expand their global market even more than they currently are.

So, now as we go through our everyday lives, we will think about OSI every time we eat certain foods and it will make us smile – because we support their company and we also enjoy their food.
